Tesla is hiring an Android Engineer intern for Mobile Software for Winter/Spring 2026 in Palo Alto, CA, with an on-site work model. Qualifications
Required
- Pursuing a Degree in Computer Science or a related field with a gradation date between 2026 – 2027
- Familiar with Swift, Kotlin, or Typescript. Android, and/or iOS
- Excellent grasp of fundamental computer science concepts, good at solving complex technical problems

- $40β$56/hr pay can help you plan your budget for an on-site internship in Palo Alto.
- Comfort switching between languages (Swift, Kotlin, or TypeScript) can be useful if the teamβs mobile code spans multiple platforms.
- Prior exposure to Android and/or iOS app structure (navigation, app lifecycle, UI patterns) can help you ramp up faster.
- Strong debugging and problem decomposition can complement the roleβs focus on solving complex technical problems.
- Clear communication of technical decisions can help when explaining tradeoffs or asking for feedback in a fast-moving environment.
