About this internship
PwC is hiring a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Intern for Summer 2027 as part of the Destination CPA path, based on-site in California. This internship is geared toward students pursuing or who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and who are preparing to meet CPA exam eligibility requirements in their intended state of employment (or CISA licensure requirements). The role is listed at $29–$48 per hour.
Qualifications
Required
- Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
Nice to have
- Coursework or strong interest in audit, assurance, and how technology impacts financial reporting.
- Plan to meet (or already meeting) the education requirements to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
- Interest in pursuing CISA licensure as an alternative or complement to CPA eligibility, depending on your goals.
- Consistent academic performance that supports or exceeds the 3.0 overall GPA minimum.
- Willingness to work on-site in California and manage an in-person schedule during the summer.
