About this internship
Palantir Technologies is hiring a Product Designer Intern in New York, NY for an on-site role in the analytics and big data space. This internship is intended for students planning to graduate in 2027 and is expected to be your final internship before graduating. You’ll apply with a portfolio that includes at least one software interface design project; if any portfolio content is password-protected, you’ll need to provide the password in the application’s additional questions.

Nice to have
- A portfolio case study that clearly explains your design process (problem, constraints, iterations, and outcomes) for a software interface.
- Experience presenting and discussing your design decisions with others and incorporating feedback into revisions.
- Evidence of strong interaction design and visual design fundamentals (e.g., hierarchy, layout, clarity, accessibility-minded choices).
- Comfort turning ambiguous product goals into wireframes, flows, and polished interface concepts.
- Strong written communication skills for documenting design rationale and describing your contribution in portfolio work.
