Oracle is hiring an Undergrad Software Engineer Intern for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in Seattle, WA, with an on-site work model. The role is geared toward students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program who will return to school after the internship in Fall 2026. Pay is listed at $19–$38 per hour, and you’ll be expected to code independently in two or more languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
Qualifications
Required
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program prior to and post internship.
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent science/engineering field AND returning to the program after completion of the internship in Fall 2026.
- Proficient (able to complete coding tasks without assistance) in two or more programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python, or similar object oriented or functional programming languages.
Nice to have
- Coursework or projects in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related science/engineering field.
- Experience switching between two or more programming languages (for example, C/C++ and Java or Python) depending on the task.
- Comfort reading and working with existing codebases, not just greenfield class assignments.
- Ability to clearly explain your technical approach and tradeoffs in writing and in conversation.
- A portfolio of class or personal projects that demonstrates object-oriented or functional programming skills.
