Hormel Foods is hiring a Foodservice Sales Intern for Summer 2026 in an on-site role based in Austin, Minnesota. The internship is paid at $24/hr and is geared toward students graduating between August 2026 and May 2027, with a 3.0+ GPA preferred, in majors such as Marketing, Professional Selling, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Hospitality, or Hotel/Restaurant Management (or a related program). You’ll need access to a personal motor vehicle and be able to drive a reliable vehicle in metro areas and in all weather; if you use your personal vehicle for the role, a company benefit will be provided.
Qualifications
Required
- This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle. In the case of personal vehicle utilization for the role, a company benefit will be provided.
- Must graduate in August 2026, December 2026, May 2027 and major in Marketing, Professional Selling, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management or relevant degree program with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred
- Must have the ability to drive a reliable vehicle in various settings, including in metropolitan areas and in all types of weather conditions.

- Comfort driving regularly for work, including planning routes and staying organized across multiple stops.
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with a variety of people in a sales environment.
- Interest in foodservice, sales, and customer-facing work aligned with your major or related coursework.
