CBIZ is hiring a Tax Intern for its Family Office & PCS team for Spring 2027 in New York, NY (on-site). In this role, youβll likely support tax compliance and related research while building project management experience in a professional services environment. The position is paid at $20β$40 per hour and is intended for candidates working toward a bachelorβs degree.
Qualifications
Required
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and tax project management skills, including knowledge of GAAP, Taxation compliance, codes and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
Nice to have
- Coursework exposure to GAAP and taxation concepts, with an interest in applying codes and regulations in real projects
- Comfort collaborating in person and communicating clearly with different stakeholders, internally and externally
- Strong attention to detail for reviewing tax-related documentation and following compliance processes
- Ability to organize multiple tasks, track deadlines, and keep tax project work moving forward
- Curiosity and persistence when conducting research and summarizing findings in writing
