About this internship
CBIZ is hiring an Audit Intern for Spring 2026 in Colorado Springs, CO, in an on-site role paying $20–$26 per hour. You’ll likely support audit-related work while building your interpersonal, analytical, and research skills and applying basic knowledge of GAAP and GAAS rules, procedures, and standards. This opportunity is geared toward students working toward a Bachelor’s degree who can communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, across different levels of an organization.
Qualifications
Required
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research, including basic knowledge of GAAP and GAAS rules, procedures and standards
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
Nice to have
- Coursework or project experience related to auditing, accounting, or financial reporting.
- Comfort asking questions and collaborating in person in an on-site environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented rules, procedures, and standards.
- Ability to organize research, notes, and supporting documentation clearly.
- Professional email and writing habits for internal and external communication.
