About this internship
CBIZ is hiring an Audit Intern for Fall 2027 in Tinton Falls, NJ, with an on-site work model and pay of $30/hr. In this role, you’ll likely support audit-related tasks that draw on research, analytical thinking, and basic knowledge of GAAP and GAAS rules, procedures, and standards. You may also collaborate across levels of the organization and communicate with internal and external contacts as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research, including basic knowledge of GAAP and GAAS rules, procedures and standards
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment
Nice to have
- Comfort communicating clearly and professionally in both email and in-person conversations.
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing information against GAAP/GAAS rules, procedures, and standards.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized while juggling multiple deadlines in a team environment.
- Willingness to ask thoughtful questions and incorporate feedback to improve your work.
- Confidence presenting findings or summaries in a clear, structured way to different audiences.
