Qualifications
Required
- Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or other relevant field, Juris Doctorate (J.D) program, or Master of Laws (LLM) program, required
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Coursework or academic projects related to state and local taxation, accounting, or finance
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, including organizing data and creating clear tables or summaries in Excel
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing numbers, formatting, and written documentation
- Ability to communicate professionally via email and presentations, including summarizing findings in PowerPoint
- Willingness to learn new tax concepts quickly and ask thoughtful questions when guidance is needed
