About this internship
BDO is seeking a Core Tax Intern for Winter 2027 in Madison, WI, working on site. You’ll support core tax-related work while building experience in an accounting environment. This role is intended for students enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting or a related field who are actively pursuing CPA credits. The pay range is $37–$41 per hour.
Qualifications
Required
- Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting or other relevant field required
- Actively pursuing school credits to become a CPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to have
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
- Clear written communication skills for organizing workpapers and summaries in Word.
- Comfort working with Excel formulas and basic data organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines during busy periods.
- Professional curiosity and willingness to ask questions when requirements are unclear.
