About this internship
BDO is seeking a Core Tax Intern for Summer 2027 in Charlotte, NC in an on-site role. This internship is paid at $37–$41 per hour and is geared toward students enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting or a related field who are actively pursuing CPA credits. You’ll likely support tax-related work while using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
Required
- Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting or other relevant field required
- Actively pursuing school credits to become a CPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to have
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and supporting documentation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for sharing updates and asking questions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a deadline-driven environment.
- Comfort learning new processes quickly and applying feedback to improve work.
- Confidence building clean, well-formatted Excel worksheets and PowerPoint slides for internal use.
