About this internship
BDO is hiring an Assurance Intern for Summer 2027 in Miami, FL, with on-site work and an hourly pay range of $37–$41. This internship is designed for students enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting who are actively pursuing school credits toward becoming a CPA. You’ll be expected to use Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as part of typical assurance-related work.
Qualifications
Required
- Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting, required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint, required
- Actively pursuing school credits to become a CPA
Nice to have
- Comfort working with spreadsheets in Excel to organize data and double-check calculations.
- Strong written communication skills for drafting clear notes, emails, or simple summaries in Word.
- Ability to create clean, easy-to-follow slides in PowerPoint for internal updates or presentations.
- Good attention to detail and a habit of reviewing your work before sharing it.
- Time-management skills to balance internship responsibilities with coursework and CPA-related credit planning.
