UNCF Healthcare Workforce Diversity Program

Amount: Up to $5,000. About: Administered by the UNCF, the Healthcare Workforce Diversity Program awards scholarships to African American students pursuing a certification or a two-year degree in healthcare related STEM fields. Applicants must file the FAFSA, have unmet financial need, meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements, and show interest in entering the healthcare sector.
Eligible Grade Levels: College Freshman, College Sophomore, Certification
Eligible Majors: Certified Medical Assistants, Certified Nursing Assistants, Certified Patient Care Technician, Community Health Worker, EKG Technician, MRI Technologist, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Respiratory Therapist, Surgical Technologist
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
