Amount: $10,000. About: Each year, The Sunflower Foundation awards the Harriet Fitzgerald Scholarship to a woman who will attend an undergraduate women’s college in the United States or Canada. All women expecting to start their first full term of college at an undergraduate women’s college in the Fall term of an academic year are eligible to apply. To have a chance at winning, each applicant should have an unweighted GPA of at least a 3.7 and either a composite SAT score of at least 1350 or a composite ACT score of at least 27 with no single ACT score below 25. Preference is given to those who show evidence of strong character and leadership qualities.
