Inc. Scholarship Program supports the higher education journey of the Company\u2019s U.S.-based employees\u2019 dependents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Scholarship Amount:<\/strong> Two (2) awards in the amount of $3,000 each<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Eligible Recipients:<\/strong> This scholarship is open to high school seniors or high school graduates who plan to enroll and current undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. two- or four-year college or university for the 2025-26 academic year, who reside in the United States.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">To be eligible, applicants must be dependents* of full-time** employees of CNOOC Petroleum U.S.A. Inc. who meet the following terms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-medium-font-size\">\n<li>Applicant&#8217;s parent\/guardian must be a current employee of CNOOC Petroleum U.S.A. Inc. at the start date of the scholarship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant&#8217;s parent\/guardian must be employed with CNOOC Petroleum U.S.A. Inc. at the time of award announcement.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">*Dependents mean son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, legally adopted child or legal ward supported solely by the guardian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">**Full-time employees are regular-time employees who are scheduled to work more than 30 hours per week on a regular basis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Scholarship Requirements:<\/strong> Applicants must submit an essay of 350 words or more on the following prompt: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>What lessons have you learned from being part of a diverse community, and how has it shaped your perspective?<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Applicants must also fill out a simple online application that will capture all of the relevant information for the
