Each year, Google selects a National Winner, four National Finalists, and 54 State and Territory Winners. Students must be enrolled in a U.S.-based K-12 school (including homeschool) or a school in Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Children of military personnel posted abroad may enter the contest; their applications will be judged with applications from their home state. Parents may enter artwork on behalf of their students.
