Additionally, the program will award $2,000 for the purchase of essential items for graduate school and provide a free workshop for awardees to learn essential life skills that are not typically covered in the college curriculum. To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements: be a first-time graduate student enrolling in the Fall 2026 semester; not hold U.S. citizenship; not be over 24 years of age as of the deadline of April 15, 2026; have been awarded or will be awarded by the upcoming Fall 2026 semester an undergraduate degree from a foreign institution; provide a complete copy of applicant\u2019s Transcript showing the Award Degree with the application or Fall 2026 Semester Submittal; have received an acceptance letter for enrollment for the upcoming Fall 2026 semester from a college or university located in the United States; be fluent in the English language and provide confirmation from the institution applicant will attend; provide a Graduation Plan prepared by the Institution and approved by the Department Chair; contribute toward the cost of applicant\u2019s education by working 240 hours from January 1 to September 1, prior to the start of the fall semester each academic year; and provide a copy of their parents\u2019 financial statement.
