To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements: be a rising sophomore and junior; be a U.S. citizen; identify as Black, African American, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, or other African descent; be enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university; demonstrate financial need; and not be a dependent of an ELC member. Scholarship recipients will receive a two-year scholarship in the amount of $10,000 per year, which will be disbursed in equal amounts for the fall and spring semesters directly to the recipient\u2019s school.
