About: <\/strong>
\n The National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) Foundation’s MFP for Addictions Counseling (Master’s) program is open to graduate students pursuing degrees in addiction counseling. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, not work for a federal agency or receive any other federal funds (other than federal student loans or work-study), be enrolled full-time and be in good standing in an accredited master\u2019s-level counseling program with a concentration in addictions, commit to obtaining an addictions counseling credential, demonstrate knowledge of and experience with underserved minority communities, and commit to provide substance abuse disorder services to those from underserved communities within one year after graduating and for at least two years after graduation.<\/p>\n
