<\/div>\r\n\r\nAbout: <\/strong>\r\n The National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) Foundation’s MFP for Mental Health Counseling (Master’s) program is open to students enrolled in master’s level counseling programs who are dedicated to helping those in underserved communities. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, not already possess a master\u2019s degree in a behavioral health field, not work for a federal agency or receive any other federal funds (except for student loans or work-study), be currently enrolled full-time and be in good standing in an accredited master\u2019s-level counseling program, demonstrate knowledge of and experience with underserved minority communities, and commit to teach, administer services, conduct research, and\/or provide direct mental health counseling to those from underserved communities within one year after graduating and for at least two years after graduation.\r\n\r\n
