Applicants must be born outside of the United States or have two parents born outside of the United States, be a graduating high school senior from one of the five high schools in New York City, and enroll full-time at an accredited public or private college or university. This program is a two-part process involving an application by the student and recommendation letters submitted by any adult who is familiar with the student\u2019s community service and leadership activities, such as a teacher, counselor, supervisor at work or a community leader.
