The fellowship may be renewable for up to three consecutive years from the initial award upon proof of enrollment and program progress for award renewal. Applicants must be licensed as a CPA; have either applied to a full-time AACSB accounting Ph.D. or DBA program (with an accounting concentration) in the United States and awaiting word on acceptance (award contingent upon program acceptance) \u2013 with preference given to those who have already been accepted into a full-time AACSB accounting Ph.D. or DBA program; have matriculated into an AACSB-accredited full-time accounting Ph.D. or DBA program and are pursuing appropriate coursework; intend to teach and research at a U.S. accredited university upon graduation (as indicated through a written essay); and have a minimum of one year left in their program.
