Some applicants may also be able to apply for the Women in STEM and\/or Manufacturing scholarships. However, <strong>each awardee can only receive one scholarship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligible Recipients<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">To be eligible, applicants must be dependents or grandchildren of employees of Prysmian (including McKinney, TX campus)&nbsp;who meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-medium-font-size\">\n<li>Applicants or their parent\/guardian\/grandparent must have been employed by Prysmian (including McKinney, TX campus) for at least one year as of March 1, 2026; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants or their parent\/guardian\/grandparent must be employed with Prysmian (including McKinney, TX campus) at the time of the award announcement.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">All\u00a0scholarships are open to high school seniors, high school graduates, and current vocational-technical, undergraduate, and graduate students who will be enrolled full-time at an accredited vocational-technical school, two-year or four-year college\/university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico for the 2026\u201327 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Special Requirements:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-medium-font-size\">\n<li>The Prysmian scholarship supporting women in STEM is available to students who identify as female and are pursuing a STEM-related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Prysmian scholarship supporting students pursuing a manufacturing degree is available to applicants pursuing a program leading to a degree or certificate in manufacturing or a closely related field. Any program that prepares students for a career in manufacturing or related disciplines \u2014 such as advanced materials, process optimization, automation, or supply chain management \u2014 would be considered closely aligned with this scholarship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scholarship Prompts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants can apply for these scholarships by writing an original essay of 350-500 words on the following prompts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-medium-font-size\">\n<li><strong>Sustainability<\/strong>: What does sustainability mean to you, and how do you plan to use your education to impact a more sustainable future?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Women in STEM<\/strong>: As a woman in a STEM field, what impact do you hope to make in STEM?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Manufacturing<\/strong>: What improvements do
