About Freixenet Mionetto USA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Freixenet Mionetto USA, one of the largest sparkling wine companies in the United States, is proud to establish the Freixenet Mionetto USA Juan Furne Memorial Scholarship<\/strong>. Juan\u2019s commitment and dedication to our organization as Director of Export Sales, Caribbean, Japan, and Canada was felt by all that he met along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout his tenure, Juan\u2019s spirit and energy contributed to his great work and further drove our portfolios presence in global markets. Juan encapsulated Freixenet Mionetto USA\u2019s vision to \u201cMake Life Sparkle\u201d any way in which he could through his dedication, integrity and drive to showcase our dynamic portfolio of quality wines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scholarship Amount<\/strong>: Two winners will receive a scholarship award of $1,500 each, paid directly to their college or vocational\/technical school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligible Recipients:<\/strong> Applicants must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Applicants must be in high school (freshman through senior years), OR<\/strong> a recent high school graduate who plans to enroll, or current undergraduate or vocational\/technical student who will be enrolled, full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the 2026-27 academic year, ages 25 and below. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Applicants must be immediate children or grandchildren of full-time employees of Freixenet Mionetto USA. Full-time employees are regular employees who are scheduled to work more than 30 hours per week on a regular basis. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Applicant’s parent\/grandparent must have been employed by Freixenet Mionetto USA for at least six (6) months prior to the start date of the scholarship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Applicant’s parent\/guardian must be employed by Freixenet Mionetto USA at the time of award announcement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Scholarship Requirements<\/strong>: Applicants must write an essay of 350-500 word answering the following prompt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Every experience, big or small, teaches us something that shapes who we become.
    Reflect on a lesson you\u2019ve learned that will stay with you for life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You might consider:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • A moment or challenge that changed how you see the world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A value or insight that now guides your decisions or relationships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • How this lesson will influence the kind of person or professional you hope to become.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Your response should focus on the lesson itself, how you learned it, and how it will continue to shape your future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
