About the Woodrow Wilson Dissertation Fellowship in Women’s Studies

Administered by the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, Woodrow Wilson Dissertation Fellowships in Women’s Studies are designed to support students conducting research about women that crosses disciplinary, regional, or cultural boundaries. Applicants must be pursuing a PhD, have completed all pre-dissertation requirements, be writing on issues related to women, gender, women’s studies or feminist/gender/LGBTQ theory, be enrolled in a graduate school in the United States, and expect to complete the PhD by summer of the following year.

Scholarship Amount: $5,000

Eligible Grade Levels: Graduate Student, Doctoral Student

Eligible Majors: Women, Gender, Women’s Studies, Feminist/Gender/LGBTQ Theory

Residency Requirement: There is no state residency requirement for this scholarship.

Minimum GPA: There is no minimum GPA requirement for this scholarship.
