About the The Harold Johnson Law Enforcement Scholarship

Administered by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, the Harold Johnson Law Enforcement Scholarship is annually awarded to local students who are interested in pursuing a career in police work, corrections, or other criminal justice fields. Each applicant must be a current graduating senior or graduate of a public or private high school in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, be planning to enroll or be currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college, university, or police academy as a full-time student, be a U.S. citizen, and meet a minimum GPA requirement of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Scholarship Amount: $5,000
Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior
Eligible Majors: Criminal Justice
Residency Requirement: California (Greater Bay Area)
Minimum GPA: 2.5
Deadline: January 8, 2021
