About the Karen E. Domingue-Maillet and Solvay/Eco Services Scholarship

Administered by the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, the Karen E. Domingue-Maillet and Solvay/Eco Services Scholarship is annually awarded to high achieving students from the region with financial need. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and East Baton Rouge Parish residents who are graduating from Baker High School, Glen Oaks High School, Istrouma High School, Mentorship STEAM Academy, Scotlandville Magnet High School, or Southern Lab High School and enrolling full-time into an accredited university or college. Additionally, applicants must rank in the top half of their senior classes and demonstrate financial need.
Scholarship Amount: $6,000 (maximum, disbursed over 4 years)
Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior
Eligible Majors: There is no major requirement for this scholarship.
Residency Requirement: Louisiana
Minimum GPA: There is no GPA requirement for this scholarship.
