About the Joseph Shinoda Memorial Scholarship

Named for a prominent Bay Area florist, the Joseph Shinoda Memorial Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students studying toward a career in commercial floriculture. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in a four-year U.S. college or a California community college. The scholarship is open to students who will be sophomores, juniors, or seniors in the upcoming academic year.
Scholarship Amount: $5,000
Eligible Grade Levels: College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior
Eligible Majors: Floriculture
Residency Requirement: There is no state residency requirement for this scholarship.
Minimum GPA: There is no GPA requirement for this scholarship.
