The feature is available in beta now for Free, Pro and Max users, with no paid upgrade required, as long as Memory is turned on. Find it under Settings in Claude for web or the desktop app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tool has drawn early comparisons to a mashup of Spotify Wrapped and Apple&#8217;s Screen Time. Users can pull up a personalized report covering the past one, three, six, or 12 months of chat activity. The dashboard surfaces the topics you discuss most often, the types of tasks you complete, when during the day you tend to reach for Claude, and which day of the week sees the most activity. A total time-spent view is listed as coming soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Than a Stats Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What separates Reflect from a simple usage counter is its built-in prompts for self-examination. The dashboard periodically surfaces questions like &#8220;What&#8217;s one thing you want to keep doing yourself, even if Claude could do it faster?&#8221; \u2014 and gives users the option to talk through their answer directly with Claude. Users can also set quiet hours or schedule a break nudge after a set amount of usage time; both reminders are dismissible, so they function as guardrails rather than restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anthropic says the feature grew out of user research conducted by its Societal Impacts team, where participants described a mix of optimism and anxiety around AI tools. The company worked with external academic partners \u2014 including the MIT Media Lab&#8217;s Advancing Humans with AI program, the Digital Wellness Lab at Boston Children&#8217;s Hospital, and the Family Online Safety Institute \u2014 to shape how sensitive conversations are handled inside the dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On privacy: Reflect excludes incognito chats, raw files from connected tools, and any conversations tied to health integrations. The report data stays in the dashboard and is not used for any other purpose, according to Anthropic. Support for Cowork conversations is not yet included but is listed as coming soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Built-In Framework for AI Fluency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most substantive piece of Reflect for career-minded users is the 4D AI Fluency Framework, which Anthropic co-developed with its academic collaborators. Every dashboard report scores your Claude activity across four dimensions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Delegation<\/strong> \u2014 setting goals and deciding when and how to involve AI; <strong>Description<\/strong> \u2014 crafting prompts that actually get useful outputs; <strong>Discernment<\/strong> \u2014 evaluating whether what Claude produces is worth using; and <strong>Diligence<\/strong> \u2014 taking responsibility for the work you do with AI assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report doesn&#8217;t just assign abstract scores. It pulls concrete examples from your chat history \u2014 noting, for instance, that you tend to rework email drafts in your own voice, or that you only delegate tasks after settling the strategy yourself. It also makes workflow suggestions: if Claude detects that you keep re-explaining the same project context at the start of new conversations, it will recommend you use Claude&#8217;s Projects feature to group related prompts together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where This Fits Competitively<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No other major consumer AI chatbot currently offers anything comparable. Google rolled out a Usage Limits dashboard inside the Gemini app in May 2026, but that tool is focused on quota management \u2014 telling users when they are approaching their compute cap \u2014 not on skill development or behavioral reflection. ChatGPT&#8217;s analytics exist only at the enterprise admin level; individual free and paid consumer users have no equivalent self-reflection feature. That puts Anthropic in a genuinely differentiated position, at least for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The timing is also notable. AI backlash is running high, with ongoing debates about cognitive offloading \u2014 the concern that heavy AI use erodes independent thinking \u2014 and broader scrutiny of how AI companies handle user data. A product that explicitly asks users to think about what they want to keep doing themselves is a pointed response to that conversation, even if it also serves Anthropic&#8217;s interest in deepening user engagement with Claude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Students Should Pay Attention<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For students and recent graduates, Reflect may be the most directly useful AI feature to launch this year \u2014 and it costs nothing. The 4D framework maps almost exactly onto what employers say they want from AI-fluent hires: people who know when to delegate to AI, can write effective prompts, critically evaluate outputs, and own the final product. Getting a structured report on where your current habits fall short of that standard \u2014 with specific suggestions for closing the gap \u2014 is the kind of feedback that used to require a coach or a course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The practical nudges matter too. Learning to use Projects, writing prompts that don&#8217;t require constant re-explanation, and building the habit of critically reviewing AI outputs are workflow skills that distinguish candidates in today&#8217;s job market.
