Kitchen Cabinet Kings has opened applications for its 2026 Entrepreneur Scholarship, a program designed to support the next generation of business leaders and innovators. Now in its tenth year, this scholarship provides financial assistance to students who demonstrate a passion for entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company will award $2,500 in the form of a check made payable to the winner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Founded in 2010, Kitchen Cabinet Kings created this award to help ease the rising costs of higher education for students with bold ideas. The program has awarded over $50,000 to students since its inception in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company hopes that the scholarship will help an aspiring entrepreneur focus on developing and pursuing entrepreneurial ideas, even when they face obstacles.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOne of the biggest lessons I\u2019ve learned from starting a business is that you don\u2019t need to have everything figured out,\u201d said co-founder and COO Andrew Saladino. \u201cStart with a simple version, expect to make mistakes, and keep going when it gets frustrating and you want to give up. My hope is that this scholarship makes it a little easier for a student to take that first step and start building something of their own.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Saladino, a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) and recipient of the 2013 and 2014 30 Under 30 Award by the National Kitchen & Bath Association, experienced firsthand the impact of a scholarship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA scholarship changed my life \u2014 now I want to pay that forward to the next generation of entrepreneurs,\u201d Saladino said. \u201cWhat excites me most about this scholarship is the possibility that one student\u2019s idea could grow into something that changes lives, including their own.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Kitchen Cabinet Kings Entrepreneur Scholarship is open to incoming freshmen and current undergraduate, graduate and trade school students who are U.S. citizens and are enrolled at an accredited U.S. college, university or trade school for the 2026-26 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To be considered for the award, applicants must complete the following steps through the official scholarship page:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First, applicants must follow Kitchen Cabinet Kings on at least two of their social media platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next, applicants must write an original essay of not more than 500 words on the following prompt: \u201cIf you were starting a small business today with $10,000 and access to the latest AI tools, how would you launch it? Explain how you would spend that money, what you would use AI for, what you would do yourself, and why.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Finally, applicants must complete the online application form, upload the essay (as a PDF or .doc), and provide their social media usernames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
