The Andy Miller Georgia Tech Scholarship<\/a> is open for applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sponsored by BRPH, Inc., an architectural and engineering firm, the scholarship was established in 2023 to mark the 40th anniversary of Andy Miller and his impact on BRPH over the years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe established the Andy Miller Georgia Tech Scholarship in honor of Andy Miller, our longest running employee, who recently celebrated 40 years of service,\u201d said Janie McDermott, BRPH vice president, chief human resources officer and principal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAndy\u2019s work ethic, dedication and integrity, extensive knowledge of structural systems design, leadership style, team-driven and collaborative spirit embodies BRPH core values. Our success depends on our team members, and Andy\u2019s contributions have been an integral part of our accomplishment. Andy sets the standard of excellence for BRPH.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The firm will award $5,000 to the winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students at Georgia Tech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a civil engineering program with a concentration in structural engineering at Georgia Tech for the 2026-27 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To apply, students must write an essay of 500-1,000 words on what attracted them to pursue a civil engineering degree with a specialization in structural engineering, its significance to them and how they see themselves in the future as an engineer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students who qualify can apply for the scholarship here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications are due by March 15, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
