Banzai, an online financial education program that offers free personal financial courses to students, has just launched its Banzai Life Literacy Scholarship<\/a> to support students in their quest for higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Banzai’s mission is to teach students the value of a dollar, but financial wellness goes beyond big decisions. We’re excited to help students pursue their dreams with less \u2014 or no \u2014 student debt!” Nikole Rios, Banzai\u2019s director of education, told The University Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company will award five $2,000 scholarships to qualified candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Banzai has always been invested in helping students prepare for their financial future, and this scholarship is an exciting way for us to take that even further by helping students afford postsecondary education and training,” added Malori Bigler, curriculum lead at Banzai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors. Applicants must reside in the United States, be at least 16 years of age, have played through at least two Banzai games and plan on enrolling either full- or part-time at an accredited college, university or a trade, vocational or technical school in the United States by the 2029-2030 academic year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To apply, eligible students must write an essay of 350-500 words on why financial literacy is important or how they plan to use what they’ve learned about financial literacy in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
