Our generation is kind of lazy. I mean, we\u2019re also super productive and hardworking and a ton of other great things, but we have lazy tendencies. (I am millennial enough to admit it). When it comes to dating (and even hooking up) we\u2019ve gotten to the point where big, dramatic over-the-top dates just ain\u2019t happening. Instead, Netflix dates are becoming increasingly popular, and for good reason. It\u2019s cheap, simple, and gives you an opportunity to cuddle up with your significant other. (The \u2018chill\u2019 part is up to you). <\/span><\/p>\n

But if you feel like your Netflix routine is getting a little boring lately, try out these 5 suggestions to make the experience a little bit more enjoyable.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. House of Cards<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

What could bring a couple closer together than a really great show about politics? If you haven\u2019t already started watching (and therefore are not human), this is your chance to prove yourself. The fantastic cast of characters and ever-changing dynamics is sure to win over the affections of you and your partner. <\/span><\/p>\n

2. Nightcrawler<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

Love dark thrillers? This edgy film captures the story of a sociopath turned cameraman who captures footage of accidents and crime and sells it to the local news station. <\/span><\/p>\n

3. Silver Linings Playbook<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

If you haven\u2019t seen this movie yet, you need to. Starring the lovely Jennifer Lawrence, this movie is a romance for the realist and is complete with (rather horrible) dancing and dynamic characters. <\/span><\/p>\n

4. Weekend<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

What started as a one night stand turns into something much more. This movie explores a gay relationship and the difficulties of love and dating that we can all relate to. <\/span><\/p>\n

5. Pride & Prejudice (2005 version)<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

Who doesn\u2019t love a good Rom Com? This classic story is witty, funny, and adorable. The chemistry between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy is intense, despite how much they claim to hate each other.
