Providence Real Estate<\/a> is accepting applications for its Providence Real Estate Diversity Scholarship<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company launched its scholarship program last year to support students interested in exploring a real estate career. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cProvidence believes that higher education is a critical element in achieving success in the real estate industry,\u201d said Providence\u2019s CEO Alan Pollack. \u201cWhile no one factor can alone propel a person into the professional real estate ranks, education can provide crucial tools for overcoming adversity to achieve professional goals.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company will award $5,000 to the winner of this year\u2019s program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe all have a part to play to ensure that every hardworking American has an opportunity to pursue success, and Providence believes that The Providence Real Estate Diversity Scholarship can play a part in more fully extending our collective American dream, thus making the world a better place,\u201d said Providence\u2019s Executive Vice President Kevin Finkel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students in accredited U.S. colleges and universities who identify as Black, Latinx, Asian American, Native American, or Pacific Islander American, reside in the United States, have reached the minimum age of 17, plan on attending a post-secondary institution in the United States in the 2023-24 academic year, and are interested in exploring a career in real estate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents of Providence communities may apply for the scholarship. Providence\u2019s employees, however, are not eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those interested in the scholarship must apply by December 31, 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To apply, students must submit an essay of 500 words or more on why they are interested in a real estate career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
