BriteCo, a U.S.-based insurance company for jewelry and engagement rings, is accepting applications for its BriteCo Community Scholarship<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company is looking to award $3,000 to the winning candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be eligible, applicants must be current undergraduate and graduate students at an accredited U.S. college or university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To apply, eligible students must either promote, on their social media feeds, a local organization or business that they believe has meaningfully helped their community, or write an essay of at least 200 words on what their community means to them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Established in 2017 by a third-generation retail jeweler, BriteCo\u2019s stated goal is to revolutionize the jewelry appraisal and insurance industry. The company makes it easy for consumers to purchase A+ rated jewelry insurance with a simple online application and affordable monthly payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs a third-generation jeweler, I founded BriteCo to help improve the experiences of both jewelers and customers who shop locally,\u201d said Dustin Lemick, founder and CEO of BriteCo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2022 is the first year of the BriteCo Community Scholarship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYoung adults who embrace the idea that community builds a strong foundation for our society are making high impact efforts that transform the future of our country,\u201d Lemick said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor BriteCo, creating an annual scholarship that supports these values, is just part of what we expect to do in our overall purpose of supporting communities,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
