{"id":57277,"date":"2022-01-25T14:39:42","date_gmt":"2022-01-25T19:39:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tun.com\/blog\/?p=57277"},"modified":"2024-01-18T15:20:53","modified_gmt":"2024-01-18T20:20:53","slug":"ap-microeconomics-exam-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tun.com\/blog\/ap-microeconomics-exam-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"AP Microeconomics Exam 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\">For details on the 2024 AP Microeconomics Exam, check <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tun.com\/blog\/ap-microeconomics-exam\/\" title=\"\">this article<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike 2020 and 2021, when the College Board modified the AP exams as a response to the disruption caused by COVID-19, the 2022 AP exams will return to its original format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the AP exams will take place over a two-week period in May: May 2\u20136 and May 9\u201313.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The College Board may change the format, however, if schools are disrupted in the spring due to COVID-19.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll continue to monitor global, national, and local health conditions, putting the health and safety of students first, and if there are widespread school closures in spring 2022, we\u2019ll provide options similar to those offered in 2021,\u201d the College Board noted <a href=\"https:\/\/apcentral.collegeboard.org\/exam-administration-ordering-scores\/exam-dates\">here<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will, of course, update this guide if that should happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AP Microeconomics exam for 2022 will be a full-length paper-and-pencil exam that students can take in school only.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is what you need to know to do well in the upcoming AP Microeconomics exam.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"will-i-get-ap-credit-for-the-2022-ap-microeconomics-exam\"><strong>Will I get college credit for the 2022 AP Microeconomics exam?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who take the 2022 AP Microeconomics exam will be eligible for college credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As in previous years, a student must obtain a score of 3, 4, or 5 to be eligible for college credit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For tips on getting a perfect AP score, check out this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tun.com\/blog\/tips-for-a-perfect-ap-exam-score-interview-with-dawn-mueller-educational-consultant-with-tutor-doctor\/\">interview<\/a> with Dawn Mueller, an educational consultant with Tutor Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-long-is-the-2022-ap-microeconomics-exam\"><strong>How long is the 2022 AP Microeconomics exam?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2022 AP Microeconomics exam will be 2 hours, 10 minutes long.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-s-the-2022-ap-microeconomics-exam-date-and-time\"><strong>What\u2019s the 2022 AP Microeconomics exam date and time?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2022 AP Microeconomics exam is scheduled for Friday, May 6 at 12 PM <strong>local time<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-will-be-tested-on-the-2022-ap-microeconomics-exam\"><strong>What will be tested on the 2022 AP Microeconomics exam?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2022 AP Microeconomics exam will test students on the whole course content, so be prepared to answer questions on these topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Unit 1:<\/strong> Basic Economic Concepts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Unit 2:<\/strong> Supply and Demand<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Unit 3:<\/strong> Production, Cost, and the Perfect Competition Model&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Unit 4: <\/strong>Imperfect Competition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Unit 5:<\/strong> Factor Markets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Unit 6:<\/strong> Market Failure and the Role of Government<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-is-the-ap-microeconomics-exam-format-for-2022\"><strong>What is the AP Microeconomics exam format for 2022?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2022 AP Microeconomics exam will be split equally between two sections: multiple-choice and free-response questions. The multiple-choice section is worth 66 percent of the exam score while the free-response section is worth 33 percent.
