In addition to the scholarship award, winning students will receive a complimentary AAPT Student Membership for one year. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Application Deadline: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">December 1<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Award Amount: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Up to $3,000<\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">\u00a0<\/span>(renewable for up to 4 years)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Eligibility:&nbsp;<\/b><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited two-year college, four-year college or university, or a high school senior accepted for such enrollment<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must be pursuing or planning to pursue a course of study leading toward a career in physics teaching in high school<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must show promise of academic success<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must be a citizen of the United States<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><b>How to Apply: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interested students must complete an online application through the online portal at aapt.org.
