Your responses should be 2,000 to 5,000 words, although you will not be disqualified if it is shorter or longer.<\/li>\n<li>Email your essay to <a href=\"mailto:scholarship@mycaliforniadefenseattorney.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">scholarship@mycaliforniadefenseattorney.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure to include the following information in your application:\n<ul>\n<li>Your first and last name, home address, as well as contact details that include your phone number and email address.<\/li>\n<li>Statement of your current academic status and evidence that you are attending law school or college as set forth above. You may submit as evidence your current law school or undergraduate transcript.
