1. Annual Project Yellow Light Scholarship<\/a> \u2013 Up to $8,000 \u2013 Apply annually by March 1 & April 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Yellow Light is a scholarship competition designed to bring about change. As an applicant you have one clear mission: encourage your peers to develop and embrace safe driving habits. Create either a video, a billboard, OR a radio spot for a chance to win up to $8,000!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. The Advocates Scholarship <\/a>\u2013 $1,000 \u2013 Apply by January 31<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Write a 300-500 word essay on the following topic: What are some of the problems we face on the roads? How can you contribute to improving road safety? What laws (if any) could be changed to accomplish the goal of making streets safer for everyone?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Create Real Impact Scholarship<\/a> \u2013 Up to $10,000 \u2013 Apply annually by April 15<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create an original work showcasing your idea for a solution to reckless and distracted driving for a chance at up to $10,000!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Do Something Scholarships <\/a>\u2013 Various Amounts \u2013 Multiple Deadlines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do Something! offers numerous scholarships throughout the year ranging from $1,000-$5,000. Many of them are related to safe driving on the road. Check out their website frequently for the current contests!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. AmericanMuscle Student Scholarship <\/a>\u2013 $2,000 \u2013 Apply biannually by June 15 and October 15<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants must write a 700-1,500 word essay discussing how they plan to use their education to incite positive change in the automotive industry. Two $2,000 scholarships will be awarded each semester.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
