Bookmark this page and check back each year!<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[divider]<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>If you have a cancer story that you would like to share and possibly win $4,000, then apply to this scholarship.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Those who have battled cancer at any point in their lives (not limited to mesothelioma) or those who have a parent, sibling, immediate family member or a close friend that has battled or is currently fighting cancer may apply.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant must be a\u00a0full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year university, community college or junior college, or a graduate degree program.<\/li>\n<li>The scholarship is offered to all U.S Citizens.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant must have academic &#8220;good standing&#8221; and a minimum 3.0 GPA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit a 500-1,500 word essay or a 5-minute video answering the following questions:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>How has cancer affected your life?<\/li>\n<li>How did you overcome this strong adversity?<\/li>\n<li>How has cancer affected outlook on your life and personal or career goals?<\/li>\n<li>How did this adversity shape who you are today?<\/li>\n<li>What would this scholarship mean to you? Why is it important?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Fill out the online application.<\/li>\n<li>Submit am unofficial Academic Transcript.<\/li>\n<li>Submit proof of enrollment. This could be an official letter verifying your enrollment or your class schedule for the current semester.<\/li>\n<li>Submit\u00a02 letters of recommendation detailing why you should receive the scholarship.<\/li>\n<li>Include any information about any honors you have received as well as any volunteer work. Please summarize in 1\u20132 sentences for each.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Spring: December 1st<\/p>\n<p>Fall: March 31st<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amount:\u00a0<\/strong>$4,000<\/p>\n<p>Even if you don&#8217;t personally have a cancer story to share, spread the word.
