Scholarship Amount: Four scholarship awards in the amount of $5,000 each.

Scholarship Deadline: The entry period for this Scholarship Contest begins on August 18, 2020, at 12:01 a.m. and ends on October 15, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Eligible Recipients: Black high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing higher education in any U.S. college or university.

Scholarship Essay Prompt: At MacKenzie-Childs, we find inspiration for the things we design by observing nature, and in the history of the decorative arts and how people from every culture style their home environments. We know inspiration can come from anywhere, and we’d like to know what inspires you. To enter, students should write an essay of 750 words or more on where you find inspiration for your art and creativity, and how you see that shaping your future.
