1. Eating House | 804 Ponce de Leon Blvd Coral Gables, FL 33178

A wide variety of dishes in a pretty much low-key atmosphere where there is even graffiti on the walls. Lines are out the door for brunch every Sunday!

Must Try: Cap’n Crunch Pancakes

2. Yardbird Southern Table & Bar | 1600 Lenox Ave Miami Beach FL, 33139

A southern style restaurant where everything is fried: hard to come by in Miami considering everyone is health obsessed. But, people have slowly overcome that mentality and enjoy every bit of the comfort food at this restaurant

Must Try: Yardbird’s fried chicken, chicken biscuit

3. Toni’s Sushi Bar | 1208 Washington Ave Miami Beach, FL 33139

Considering sushi is all the rage nowadays, people find it difficult to find a reputable sushi place. Toni’s always remains on top! Delicious, affordable sushi right in the heart of Miami Beach.

Must Try: Chef’s choice sushi & sashimi plate

4. Red, The Steakhouse | 119 Washington Ave Miami Beach, FL 33139

Fits your classic steakhouse atmosphere, but people don’t only come here for the steak. Is known for everything from steaks to donuts!

Must Try: Anything covered in “Red Lead” sauce

5.  Cleo-South Beach | 1776 Collins Ave Miami Beach, FL 33139

Known for their small dishes, but don’t be alarmed when you hear small plates! It is still affordable, you can get a few plates to more than satisfy you for under $50

Must Try: Brussel Sprouts

6. Pincho Factory | 9860 SW 40th Street Miami, FL 33165

It all started when owner Nedal Ahmad was grilling in his backyard and decided to take his pinchos (kabobs) and burgers to the next level. He opened this pincho and burger joint and it has been a success ever since.

Must Try: Signature Pincho Burger, cajun fries

7. Blue Collar Restaurant | 6730 Biscayne Blvd Miami, FL 33138

Specializing in comfort food, this place is a fan favorite. Specifically you will be eating the food that your doctor warned you not to have. It will bring you back in time with its 70s style interior.

Must Try: Potato hash, Corden sandwich

8. Coyo Taco | 2300 NW 2nd Ave #3 Miami, FL 33127

Many restaurants have decided to go the taco route, but Coyo Taco has truly outdone the rest. Lines are out the door from the moment it opens, right up until closing time. (Check out the secret bar at its Wynwood location)

Must Try: Cactus Tacos, Alligator Bites (Interesting, I’ll have to try these myself)

9. 33 Kitchen | 3195 Commodore Plz Miami, FL 33133

A Peruvian restaurant that makes you forget that you are actually in Miami. This family-run restaurant makes sure to keep its old school values: a family member will most likely serve you. Here you will find seafood just as good, if not better than those high end places for a fraction of the price!

Must Try: Ask any Peruvian… ceviche of course!

10. Macchialina Taverna Rustica | 820 Alton Rd Miami Beach, FL 33139

Who doesn’t love Italian food? With what seems like the overflow of Italian restaurants nowadays, it is nice to find a restaurant that fits the old school Italian image in the middle of Miami Beach

Must Try: Eggs Macchialina (if you plan on going for  brunch)
